Hooper Safe Haven Release Fun

For this release, we were asked to show a pair of shoes that matches me. I have to admit this was a little hard for me…but after some thought, I decided to go with my favorite pair of combat boots.

These boots are comfy. I can walk in them all day and they don’t hurt my feet. These boots are steel toe reinforced and they go up high to protect my ankle. The color is my favorite two – black and silver. It sounds funny but I know I can rely on these boots; especially because they go with so many of my outfits. My favorite part of these boots is that they are a bit quirky and a bit different from others that are out there.

How do these boots match me?

I want to be a “comfy” friend. Someone who people want to be around; who people are comfortable around. I am always there for my friends and enjoy supporting them as well as helping then in any way I can. They can rely on me just like I can rely on my boots.

For the black – my heart can be as black as they come. I am a sinner. But like the brightness of the silver of those clasps…Jesus’ has washed those sins away and is working on my heart to brighten it. I am so thankful for that. Sometimes being a Christian means we have to do combat and I pray I am ready just like my boots are ready if need be.

I think I can be a weird and different from others. I am thankful for all my friends who put up with my weirdness!

How about your, reader friends? What would you say are shoes that match your personality?
