Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. I Thessalonians 5:18
During the season of Thanksgiving, we gather around family and friends, expressing gratitude for life’s blessings. I try to concentrate on my list of blessings as I face each day.
The verse above tells us to give thanks in all circumstances. During difficult seasons, we might question, all circumstances, really? Even dire ones. Declining health, loss of job, death of a loved one, depression, care of a loved one. The list and degree of difficulty varies for each individual.
But God desires for us to give thanks anyway because of His goodness and love that endure forever. Join me in a season of thankfulness that transcends our circumstances.
